Chief Justice Thomas Luttrell died 1545.
On the death of this infant (son of James) Luttrellstown passed to the Chief Justice's third son, Simon Luttrell,
from whom the subsequent owners were descended.
Of his three younger brothers the eldest, Robert, settled at Tankardstown, in the County Meath;
the second, John, who died in 1620 and was buried at Clonsilla, resided at a place called Killeigh;
and the third, Walter, matricu- lated in 1572 at Oxford University. .  .
Simon Luttrell was only a youth at the time of his father's death, and
six years after he succeeded to Luttrellstown, in 1566, he entered Lincoln's Inn as a student.  (3)

Estimating birth dates for Simon and his younger brothers -
Simon's DOB c. 1540 - 45 if about 20 upon entering university.
Robert was next in age to Simon - DOB c. 1542 - 1546?
John who died 1620. . .DOB c. 1545 - 1550?
Walter DOB c. 1550 - 1552, if about 20 upon entering university
(probably all are children of Thomas and 2nd wife, Elizabeth Bathe)

Are John Luttrell of Killeigh and John Luttrell of Woodstock, co. Kildare the same person?

Documents seem to show them both as sons of Sir Thomas Luttrell of Luttrellstown
(see record for John Luttrell of Woodstock)
They both are shown to live west of Dublin
(John Luttrell of Killeigh in "W Dublin" and John Luttrell of Woodstock in co. Kildare, which borders co. Dublin on its western boundary)
They both seem to die in the 1620 - 30 time frame.
